No one knew what to expect from the half-finished manuscript that David Foster Wallace left behind when he died. What we got was the best we could have hoped for: a construction site of a novel, to be sure, hard hats required, with the barest skeleton of a plot, but also some of Wallace's most direct and personal and eloquent writing. The opening section of the book includes a dozen pages set in the head of a junior accountant on a regional jet, just sitting and thinking, and it's riveting. Nobody writing now can pull off that kind of a literary MRI job. Lars Kepler is Swedish, and he's being billed, naturally, as the successor to Stieg Larsson. But Kepler casts a subtler, creepier spell than his countryman (Kepler is actually the pseudonym for a Swedish husband-and-wife writing team). The book starts with a bloodbath: Erik Maria Bark, an emphatically retired hypnotherapist, is called in to delve into the psyche of a young boy, the last survivor of a brutal killing spree who is incapacitated by shock. What comes forth from the depths of the boy's mind should be the end of the story, the solution to the crime, but instead it turns out to be only the beginning of a terrible chain of events that leads backward and forward in time. Kepler has a remarkable feeling for physical cruelty, and his ability to inhabit the workings of psychotic psyches is authentically shocking. Larsson is destined to have many heirs, but of this year's crop, Kepler is by far the best.

In order to view your Wallet balance,

Q. How do I redeem Wallet balance?

In order to use redeem your Wallet balance,

• Add items to your cart
• Go through the usual check-out process
• In the payment step of check-out, choose the Wallet as the mode of payment

Q. What do I do if my Wallet balance is insufficient?

In case your Wallet balance is lower than the total amount payable, you can make a partial payment using your Wallet and then pay the remaining amount using any of the other pre-paid payment options. Please note that Cash-on-Delivery cannot be combined with a Wallet payment.

Q. Can I transfer my Wallet balance?

No, the Wallet is associated with your Flipkart.com account only. The Wallet balance in your account cannot be transferred to other accounts.

Q. What is the Refund Policy for the Wallet?

The entire Wallet balance will be refunded upon request, except for any amount added for promotional purposes. Please reach us via the Contact Us page if you want to initiate a refund of your Wallet balance.

Q. Is there any expiry date for the balance in the Wallet?

No, there is no expiry date for the Wallet balance. You will be able to use your Wallet balance at any point of time.

Q. Can I delete my Wallet?

Since a Wallet is associated with an account, it cannot be deleted separately. However, the usage of Wallet it totally up to your discretion. You can choose to not use your Wallet at all and this will not interfere with any of the normal flows.
